Phoenix Entertainment Group, Inc (PEG) to Release Paintball Movie May 6, 2008

Redondo Beach, CA, February 21, 2008 – Phoenix Entertainment Group is pleased to announce the release of the award winning Paintball The Movie: Court Jesters on DVD and Blu-Ray on May 6, 2008.

“We’re very excited about Paintball The Movie as Phoenix continues to expand its catalog to a broader audience with each new release,” stated Tony Perez, President of Phoenix Entertainment Group. “There are over 15 million loyal Paintball fans that have 2,500 paintball fields to play in around the country and it’s the fastest growing sport in North America, surpassing skateboarding, surfing, bowling, and others. These fans spent over 400 million in equipment in 2004 and that number is expected to double in 2008. We will be working closely with manufacturers, print media and playfields to create awareness for a very hungry audience that has been looking for a film about this Sport for along time’

Winner of Best Picture, Best Drama and Best Supporting Actor at the Action On Film Festival, Paintball The Movie: Court Jesters is inspired by the true story of a teenage boy from a broken home, who manages to find direction in the form of a paintball team. The cast is comprised of a mixture of veteran actors from "The Sopranos and "Law and Order," and a host of new and upcoming talent.

Phoenix Entertainment Group, Inc (PEG) Announces New Direct-to-DVD Labels.

El Segundo, CA, May 29, 2007 – Phoenix Entertainment Group is pleased to announce the formation of two new Direct-to-DVD labels to release its new product lines. In response to the popular demand of Horror films, Phoenix Entertainment Group Inc. has created a new Horror label, UNDER THE BED FILMS, which will release edgy, direct-to-DVD horror and sci-fi feature films. BY THE RIVER SIDE FILMS will release inspirational and family films.

“We’re very excited about our upcoming release slate from Under the Bed and By the River Side Films; the films being released thru these labels have already garnered great exposure from either film festivals or magazine reviews and features. We believe they will be a great addition to our catalog of films as we continue to grow and expand our company” says Tony Perez, Vice President, TV, Film and DVD Development. Phoenix Entertainment Group, known best for quality Urban and Latino themed titles, has committed itself to building a strong and varied line of offerings, including horror, sci-fi, action, comedy and family films.

Under the Bed Films plans on releasing 12 to 14 titles per year, and its first release “A Woman’s Scorn”, will be available in the market place July 24, 2007. The second release is entitled, “Werewolf in a Women’s Prison”, available September 4, 2007. And “Dorm of the Dead” will be released September 18, 2007.

By the River Side Films will release 8 to 12 titles per year beginning in September 25, 2007 with Sobbing Stone and Squad 77 followed by RSTC: Reserve Spy Training Corps in October. All the films have been family approved by the Dove Foundation.
